My Story

I absolutely love what I do! Being able to show others my amazement and the beauty I see when I look at people and just in ordinary moments is the most wonderful, fulfilling way of life EVER.

I honestly cannot even call photography a job. I almost feel like it is my duty, or my destiny. Life is always so crazy, hectic, and busy that I feel like it is up to me to capture those special, unique and one-of-a-kind moments as they happen so that we can appreciate them for years to come.

Taking pictures was always a hobby, though looking back, I'm not sure I even realized I had such a love for it at the time. Every time I started on a new career path, God had other plans. I had three children in a five-and-a-half year span. After our third child was born, I decided to be a stay-at-home mom and was blessed to be able to do so for the next five years. Once our youngest started school, I started thinking about what was next for me but had no clue what I wanted to do or where to start.

My husband--who apparently had noticed my hobby more than I had!--suggested I start taking pictures, and the rest is history.

I have only been in business for five years, but in that time I feel as though I have grown as both a person and a photographer. Every day, I learn something new in how I shoot and edit. Most of the time, I follow my instinct and intuition, and that seems to work for me and my clients. Photography feeds my soul, and I hope to be doing this for years to come! If my "style" or services I offer seem to be what you are looking for, then I hope to hear from you soon!‚Äč
